WHEN SHOULD I WEAR THERMALS?

Our plus size thermals keep you warm by wicking away moisture from your skin. They're designed to fight against a process called "evaporative cooling," and, in essence, prevent you from catching a chill from the moisture on your clothing.

We recommend wearing plus size thermals any time you partake in cold weather activities, like skiing or hiking, and on occasions where you need extra warmth, especially when you think you may break a sweat. One of those most common times is when you’re sleeping. Although they make excellent base layers under clothing, thermals are also great for retaining warmth at night.

When it comes to layering your plus size thermals, the process is simple. Choose your favorite thermal style and use it as your foundation. You can build upon this with a sweater that's accompanied by a vest and/or coat to really amplify the warmth. Jeans tend to work well over thermal pants, and you can size up for a more roomy fit.
